今日 (1/20 JST）の Windows Update（1 月の C リリース)

Windows 10 ver 20H2 (Ent/Edu only)、ver 21H2、ver 22H2、Windows 11 ver 21H2 に 1 月のオプションの更新プログラム (2023-01 C) が出ています。オプションなので用が無ければ不要。Windows 11 ver 22H2~~、Windows Server 2022~~ はまだ。（→ ”After November 22, 2022, there are no more optional, non-security preview releases for Windows Server 2022. Only cumulative monthly security updates (known as the "B" or Update Tuesday release) will continue for Windows Server 2022.” でした）

2023 年 3 月から、Windows 10 向けの C リリースは ver 22H2 のみに (IMPORTANT After March 2023, there are no more optional, non-security preview releases for the supported editions of Windows 10, version 20H2 and Windows 10, version 21H2. Only cumulative monthly security updates (known as the "B" or Update Tuesday release) will continue for these versions. Windows 10, version 22H2 will continue to receive security and optional releases.)

1/24 追記) .NETfx の C もあった。こっちは［更新プログラムのチェック］のクリックで (自動更新のサイクルでもきちゃう？) でダウンロード＆インストールが始まっちゃうのでご注意あれ。

Windows Update で古い Office の更新プログラム？

だそうだ。同じような構成の PC（Windows 10 Home 22H2）なのに来ないのもあった。

Microsoft Defender for Endpointで事件です。

この週末、企業向け Microsoft Defender (Microsoft 365 Defender、Microsoft Defender for Endpoint) で大惨事があったらしい。影響を受けた方（出社して気付く人も？）、ご愁傷様です。回復するのは大変な作業かも。個人には影響なし。Microsoft Defender for Business にも攻撃面の縮小（ASR）は入っているみたいだから影響するかも（→Microsoft Learn）

1/15 17:30 追記）先ほど、更新された復元スクリプト（v1.1）が公開されました。VSS を利用して復旧するオプション（.\AddShortcuts.ps1 -VssRecovery)

1/18 追記) 1/17 に v2、1/19 に v3 スクリプトが公開されました。

1/23 追記) 1/23 時点でいつの間にか v5 になってます (たぶん 1/20 頃に v4、1/21 頃に v5)。

Microsoft Edge は、1/13 JST に出てから、既に 3 バージョン目（109.0.1518.49、.52、.55）、こちらもバタバタしてますね。
