本日の Windows Update － 2018 年 11 月 28 日（D パッチ）

11 月の D パッチ（C パッチはなかった）、またの名を翌月の B パッチに向けたプレビューが来てます。ただし、Windows 10 October 2018 Update（ver 1809）と Windows Server 2019、Windows Server, ver 1809 には今のところなし。

Windows 10/Windows Server 2016 以降

10/2019 1809（RS5）　11 月中に新たな累積更新はなし (17763.134 が最新、Release Preview には .167 が配布されテスト中、言い換えればこの日に出た下位バージョン向けの累積更新はテストが不十分のプレビュー版ってこと）。12 月 B パッチまでないのかな？ Intel マイクロコードの更新は、Microsoft Update Catalog から本日提供あり（つまり現時点ではオプション扱い）。→ KB4465065: Intel microcode updates

12/3 追記：外字（EUDC）に関係する不具合が見つかったらしい。
Symptom: When features related to end-user-defined characters (EUDC) are used, the entire system may become unresponsive.  → Workaround: Double-click any font file or navigate to the font folders immediately after logging on.Microsoft is working on a resolution and will provide an update in an upcoming release.

WSUS 向けの Windows 10 ver 1809 x64-Only 機能更新プログラムの提供

Windows 10 ver 1809 x64 の機能更新プログラムが 11/28 JST に WSUS で利用可能になりました。機能更新プログラムがさらに新しくなったわけでなくて、MS → WSUS 間のダウンロードを少なくできる x64 専用パッケージ。11/14 JST の修正版の機能更新プログラムは x86 と x64 の両方に対応したもの。

9 月末に始まったこちら（↓）の "An x64-only feature update will be available for Windows 10, version 1809 once it is released."への対応ってことです。

Azure Marketplace に Windows Server 2019 イメージ登場

昨日（11/27）の午後あたりから、Azure Marketplace に Windows Server 2019 と Windows Server, ver 1809 のイメージが登場しました。Computer の Windows Server のカテゴリには分類されてないけど、検索するとでてきます。

デプロイしてみたら、ライセンス認証 (KMS) が失敗してる。同じ VNET 上の Windows Server 2016 や Windows 10 1709 (MSDN) は正常に認証されてるけど、2019 は 11/28 時点で 0xC004F074 で KMS クライアント（標準で設定済み） のライセンス認証に失敗（Datacenter、Datacenter Server Core、Datacenter with Containers のどれも失敗）。KMS クライアント キーとかの構成が間違っているわけではなさそう。

（ここから想像です）今日の Windows Server 2016 向け KB4467684 と Windows Server 2012 R2 向け KB4467625 Improvements and fixes に" Addresses an issue that causes the installation and client activation of Windows Server 2019 and 1809 LTSC Key Management Service (KMS) host keys (CSVLK) to not work as expected. For more information about the original feature, see KB4347075. " って問題の修正が入っているけど、Azure VM 用の KMS サービスは未修正（未パッチ）だったりして。あるいは、単に周辺環境の準備が追い付いていないだけかも。（ここまで想像です）
11/29 追記) 11/29 13:00 に起動したら、ライセンス認証成功しました。

11/29 追記) VisualStudio/MSDN 向けの Windows 10 Enterprise N (x64) イメージもver 1809 ベースのもの（Version: 2018.11.13）が提供開始。VL 向けの Windows 10 Pro ver 1809 も。これらは 17763.134 ベースのイメージ。
