・先月（4 月 11 日）で EoS になった Office 2013 に 5 月も更新（C2R 15.0.5553.1000、MSI KB5002297 など← KB5002088 を参照）あり。Excel と Word のセキュリティ修正（CVE-2023-24953、CVE-2023-29335）も含まれているけど、2025年に証明書の有効期限切れでライセンス認証が失敗する可能性があるので証明書検証処理を削除するのと、Excel (KB5002384) 、Word (KB5002365)、PowerPoint（KB4504725） がファイルを開く／編集するための既定のプログラムの更新をユーザーに求めないようにするものだそう。後々使えなくなる、使いにくくなる機能を削除して、放置しておいても使えなくならないようにする更新って感じ？
